Lil Sofia Hot Cocoa

I made a second card for the Sweet 'n Sassy Challenge. :) The challenge involves using a new product or new technique. I am using for the very first time a digi image I bought in December from Scrapbook Stamp Society called Lil Sophia Hot Cocoa and a new card fold technique.

This is the fold I found over at Beccy's Place. I can't seem to be able to pull up the exact link again but I know it was there when I first looked! :(

These are the colors I used:

Blues: B00, B04
Skin tone: E11, E00, R20
Eyes: E15, E18
Hair: N8, N6
Hearts: R20, RV13
Hot Cocoa: E11, E15

This is how she looks after I put her all together with my "fancy" fold. ;) lol

I used ribbon, printed paper, specialty paper and card stock from my stash. The rhinestone is from Michael's $1 bin. I added dots of Stickles in Platinum, Diamond, Icicle and Star Dust to the "snow" background to add some shimmer. I finished by adding Crystal Snow from Stampendous on the ear muffs and "fur" trimming on her mittens. :)

I kinda wish it would snow now so I can wear fur-trimmed clothing and drink hot cocoa. No! No I don't! :-O I don't know what got into me!! I'll just wear the fur-trimmed clothing and drink hot cocoa in January and February because these are winter months. ;) lol

Oh, and before I forget... I've meant to share this with y'all before now and keep forgetting... see this...

Rachel Ray is NOT the ONLY one with a garbage bowl... ;) lol In case you're wondering... it's an empty Lysol disinfectant wipe container... and yes... I do plan to alter it. ;)

Thanks for stopping by! :) Please leave a comment so I'll know you were here! :)
