Alicia's Challenge #4

I've gone and done it! I've made my first easel card and all I have to say about that is... I. Am. Hooked! What can I say? I love it! I'd put it off because it looked hard but by golly... super easy... here... let me show it to you but first... as always...

I am sharing this to Alicia's Challenge #4. I bought this image not too long ago... love it too! I bought the image at Alicia's Little Shop and it's called ever so appropriately "Thinking of You".

I was trying a coloring technique I saw on a blog... using only 0s in the shades of the colors... not sure I pulled it off but I like how it came out anyway...

These are the Copic markers I used to color the image:

Pinks: R000
Yellows: Y000
Blues: B00
Grays: C0, N0, W0
Skin tone, eyes and lips: E00, E51, E13 and R01
Hair: E11, E13, E31

Here is the card:

I used ribbon, card stock and printed paper from my stash. Rhinestones and pearl beads are from The Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. The Butterfly Layering Punch is from EK Success and I also used Spellbinder's Lacey Squares die... which by the way... when I was looking for the die link, I saw this and now I think I must have it! :) The sentiment is from Raisin Boat's Formal Phrases stamp set.

Let me tell you... I had so much fun making this easel card... I've spent all day making more! I can do that right now... I'm on spring break! Yay! :)

Thanks for stopping by and, as always, please leave a comment so I'll know you were here. :)
