Ha! Not sure where I was going there with the title... yes... I was... this is for MelJen's Designs 200th Challenge Celebration at MelJen's Designs Design Team and Challenge Blog. So there's the celebration part. Smokin' Hot is the image I've used. This is my card:
All supplies are from my long hoarded stash, as usual these days. I hand wrote the sentiment. I don't normally like to do this unless I cannot find exactly what I'm looking for but today I got to thinking... it gives the card such a personal touch! As if making it is not personal enough! Ha! The grill and vegetables are unknown rubber stamps I've had for years! I unmounted them never thinking I'd need to know who made these so ... go figure! :( Some days I'm NOT the brightest Copic in the box! ;) lol
I've used a sketch from Seems a Little Sketchy Sketch #60. This is the sketch:
Finally, I love to make masculine cards. Not sure why! They give me such a panic attack. lol I guess it's the no flowers, no frills thing. Sometimes it's nice to take a break from this. So when I find a masculine card challenge, I cannot help but get a little excited! lol So I made this card to go along with Sentimental Sundays Challenge #197 - Cards for a Boy/Man. And there you have it. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by!

What a great card Ema. I love the bright colours and that image does make me think spring and summer will come soon...even though it doesn't feel like it in snowy/cold Southern Ontario !!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with us at Meljen's this week for the 200th Challenge, and good luck.
