Here's my project for the current Challenge #29 - Fancy Folds at Fitztown Challenge Blog (FCB). These types of cards always look so complicated to me until I actually get around to making one! This is a fold from a tutorial I found on Pinterest from Whiff of Joy. I love it! I use it A LOT! It gives a card such an elegant look but it's super easy.
Here's my card:

Kinda plain on that last photo, huh? I usually forget to take a picture while it's open. Ugh! So today, before I tied the bow and closed it to embellish, I photographed the open card. I have a hard time making bows. Sad story but it's true! So once I've got a bow that will work... I'm not undoing it for anything! lol I've used Valentine 2 from Fitztown to make an anniversary card for a family friend. All supplies used are from my stash. The sentiment is from an unknown rubber stamp I unmounted years ago and cannot remember where it came from. :( Didn't give too much forethought to the whole unmounting business but that's a story for a different post. :-\ lol I've colored the image with Copic markers. I dabbed all the flowers, both the 3D and the rose images, with Stickles in Star Dust because Stickles makes everything prettier. :)
I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:
I hope you're taking a moment to join the FCB team and me in the current challenge at FCB. We've also got week 2 of Challenge #28 - Punches and/or Dies. The winner for Challenge #27 - Anything Goes will be announced Sunday at 6 PM, USA, EST. Be sure to remember to check that out!
Don't forget! Changes were made to the challenge rules so more participants would be able to join in on the fun. Prizes were updated to reflect these changes. There were some tweaks made to the layout of the blog to make it easier to maneuver around on the blog. Be sure to check out the tabs on the top of the page.
We're smack dab in the middle of our Bunny Blog Hop too. You've got until Saturday, midnight, USA, EST to hop along for some prizes. Be sure to check that out as well!
