By Special Request

I've got this Christmas card I made when I first started coloring with Copic markers. Since then, I've had a request for the same card a total of SEVEN times, well eight if you count the last time because she wanted two of the cards. Each time is a little different because I tend to run out of one thing or another. Each time before this one, I forgot to photograph the project! Can you believe it?!? I'm still questioning myself about it! But I remembered this time and I'd like to share it with you. There's two cards and I made them identical with the exception that I flipped the image on one of them:
Here is the second card:
I originally had no intention of blogging or entering these in challenges but I thought to myself... what? These are gorgeous! They must be shared! lol So I am!

I'd like to enter these cards into these challenges:

Sassy but Classy

This week, Fitztown's Design Team and I are hosting Challenge #46 - Step Card. I'll be honest with you... I almost called in sick! lol I've done this once before using a tutorial I found on Pinterest and I must not have read and understood the instructions because I had to cut... and cut... and cut... and when I thought I was done... I had to cut some more! :'( I almost cried! lol Ssooo... this time around... I found a template at Digital Delights and JUMPED. ON. IT! Jury is still out on that but I was able to at least get the base cut correctly. However, I'm thinking... I don't know how to get it to sit right so I can photograph it. Every time I tried to get a picture... it insisted on laying down! Lazy! lol It still came out much nicer than my first one and I didn't have to cut... and cut... and cut... and when I thought I was done... cut some more! lol

BW: DayDreamer

This is my DT project for one of Beary Wishes releases for June. This is Daydreamer. I think this image makes for a great card for a young girl. I used a bold red, by the way, one of my favorite colors! I like to color hair black, too. I just can't help myself! If you were to visit my blog often, you'd notice I make quite a few projects using red and coloring the hair black. The image reminds me of a lazy summer afternoon at a park enjoying the beauty of nature.

Show Me Your Santa!

lol The title gave me the giggles! lol I am participating in Bugaboo's Catch the Bug Challenge 4th Annual Christmas in July Blog Hop. Phew! That's a mouthful! lol It's a week long challenge and I'm not sure I've got the stamina for it! lol I've got all my images colored and the blog hop looks like fun that is for sure but a daily card??? I have trouble remembering to take my chemo drug daily... sometimes even eating... :\ I'm working with a fried brain. If you've read my blog before I'm sure you've read me writing so... well... I! Mean! It! :( Anyway, I'm gonna give it my best shot!
Here's my Saturday project for the Christmas in July: Week-long Challenges/Inspiration:
Here's a close up of the image:
The theme is "Show Me Your Santa". I kinda looked at all the entries so far cause I wasn't sure what was meant by that. There was one girl who had this picture:
... and a couple of the entries had Santa on the beach so I thought... hmmm... but as I continued to visit the other blogs... some of them just had a Santa and they understood it like me... "Show Me Your Santa" so here I am showing you my Santa. lol
I love Bugaboo images! They are just so Cah-You-T! I've even applied as a Guest Designer but I will not hold my breath. The list was LONG. I was number 142! Can you believe it?!? I can dream though! :)
So I'm getting off the subject... surprise! I do that a lot... ADD... I'm sure of it! I've used a sketch from Digi Sketch Challenge. The challenge is "In the Garden or Sketch". I think they'll know... I'm using the sketch... but I'll be sure to clarify that for them. Here's the sketch:
I'm also entering this into these Christmas-themed challenges:
I am a follower of these blogs. The blog layout I use does not allow me to list challenges on a sidebar. Instead, I display badges and / or links here

Image: Santa Ornaments from Bugaboo
(By the way, they are having a 50% off sale through
the end of July! I'm having one of those moments
when I am wishing I'd been born rich instead
of beautiful! :\ lol)
Image colored with Copic markers and silver gel pen
Printed card stock from Bazill
Liquid Applique sprinkled with Crystal Snow on the "fur"
White flock on Santa's beard
Sentiment is from some unknown printed paper
Glossy Accents on the ornaments
I'm off to get this uploaded to the challenge. I have good intentions! lol
Let's see how far I get with this! Wish me luck!

Meowy Mousemas!

I've made this Christmas card to play along with the July Progressive Challenge at Imagine That! I love the image! It's just too cute! Here is my project:
Here's a close up of the image:
I've used the image provided for the challenge called Meowy Mousmas. The sentiment is from the digi stamp set. I've colored the image with Copic markers. I added Liquid Applique to the fur on the hats and Glossy Accents to the eyes and mouse's nose. I also sprinkled some glitter on the Liquid Applique. As always, all supplies used are from my long hoarded stash.
