Here I am again with another Funky Kits image! I am so in love with these images... almost as much as the twisted easel card. I just wish they weren't so pricey. These images are super easy to color and I'm almost embarrassed when folks tell me I've colored it beautifully because they are naturally shaded... all I do is add color... but I am coloring it... ssooo... :)
Here's my card:
Look! It's NOT a twisted easel card! lol Just a regular ol' easel card!
I made it a 4.25X5.5 rectangle portrait card:
They are easier to fit into envelopes but I can't do the twisted easel part. I don't think I can... can I? I didn't want to waste card stock trying to figure it out. What do you know about that? I was being lazy about Googling it or looking it up on Pinterest. Sometimes I can be like that. :)
Here's a close up of the image:
I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
This is the sketch:
This is how I put my card together:
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug Polka Dots
Border punch: Lace 3-in-1 Corner Punch
Crochet ribbon from Hobby Lobby
Foam tape to pop up the image
White Pen for faux stitching: American Crafts Galaxy Marker Medium Point
Card stock, printed paper, foam tape and flower from my stash
Once again, I meant to participate in Sentimental Sunday's Challenge #219 Decorate Your Card Inside and Out but I forgot to add the sentiment! I actually did add one... and it reads... 'Flower Petal Wishes', hence the title of the post. It's from a set I purchased at Create with TLC... but I was too lazy to take the picture again so there you have it. Now you know I'm lazy, too. :\ Besides... I have one more card I made tonight but I have to get with a DT Coordinator to learn when she'd like to have me post it. Until then...
I think I may be taking a break. Since August 1st, I've posted nine, ten with this one and let me tell you... that's just craziness coming from me... and although, I am enjoying it immensely.... I really should do some house cleaning... grocery shopping... laundry... :)
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
