Can you imagine such a combination? Until I'd lived in New Hampshire for almost three years was I finally brave enough to try that. Trust me on this... it's NOT all it's cracked up to be. lol There are folks who LOVE this about the fall season. What I love about apple cider with doughnuts is that I know it's fall and I love fall. I love everything about fall. The weather, the activities, the colors... to me... IT IS the most wonderful time of the year! :)
So when I saw this image with DeeDee's monthly progressive challenge, I was in heaven! There's more to the set, but these apple mugs spoke to my heart. I've used the precolored image because I am trying to beat the clock!
Teehee... it's a twisted easel card:
Here's a top view so you can get a better look at the bottom panel:
I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:
Here's the Digi of the Month Stamp Set:
I'll tell you what about Doodle Pantry. I love DP! Last month, I mistakenly purchased the featured product and thought I'd learned my lesson. Well... apparently NOT! I did it again this month! When I hit the PayPal button to pay for my purchase and as I was waiting for the green light, I wondered to myself why the Cheer Spirit Set was only $2.50... and bam! I was hit by lightening. No light bulb going off this time. I clicked back on to look at the set and there in bold letters were the words I was dreading to read: Cheer Spirit - Featured for DPDC50 challenge. :\ Think I've learned my lesson THIS time? I hope so! I guess we will find out in October! :\ Anyway, I figured, well, I'll enter with another stamp and hopefully... win... lol Always the optimist! :)
Here's the sketch:

ReplyDeleteI've actually never even had it before so I'm going to take your word for it! LOL! Don't think that cider is real big down this way. I DO love your card though. SO pretty and it's a great take on the sketch too. So glad you're playing along with us at Deedee's Digis!

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of cider, but I'm loving autumn, and of course donuts are always good :) I love how you've mirrored the image to make two mugs, and one day I want to learn how to do that! What a great look on this twisted easel card! Thanks for playing along with Deedee's September challenge - see you in October:)
