I've not ever understood why it is they say hot air rises but whenever my beloved late brother in law blew up the balloons for parties they did not float? lol I use to love to tell him that! May he rest in peace.
For some reason, this thought came to mind when I was working with this new image I received for the monthly progressive challenge at From the Heart:
Surprise, surprise! It's NOT a twisted easel card:
Here's a close up of the image:
I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:
Oldie But a Goodie Challenge: Stitching (3D balloon sticker was purchased in 2006)
This is the sketch:
Card Recipe:
Image: Flappy Birthday at From the Heart Stamps
Image was colored with Copic markers, Glossy Accents and Snow Crystal glitter
Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circle SM die
Stitching was completed by yours truly using a real sewing machine! It's not just for fabric! lol
All card stock, textured card stock, pattern paper and balloon 3D sticker are from my long hoarded stash I've been keeping since about 2006... for shame, for shame! :\
Ssooo... don't you kinda wonder too... if hot air rises... why do we need helium and why can't we just use someone we know who is full of hot air? lol
Thanks for stopping by!

Great card. I was so interested to see what others did with the image. I wanted to use just one of the birds but didn't know the rules...haha Anyhow, your brother is probably watching you every time you have to blow up balloons. Darling card.
