I made this card for my brother. He's not really sick like with a flu. He's had major surgery. He had a kidney removed. He was diagnosed with Stage IV kidney cancer May 2013. He's been living with me since April. I know this will not come close to comforting him, but I hope the message I've written inside will lift his spirits. After all, it's the thought that counts... right? And what I'm really thinking... I wish I could take all this away from him.
I may as well enter this into a couple of challenges... otherwise... I'll just feel naked the rest of the day! lol

Sweetheart, your brother will love this so much. When my daughter was undergoing chemo for Hodgkins Lymphoma last year her friends all sent her postcards, and it cheered her up so much just because they were thinking of her. (She is now in full remission. It's miraculous what the medical profession can do these days!!!)
ReplyDeleteI hope your brother is well on the way to recovery, he's going through a tough time ( and so are you - I know it too well!) but it will all be worth while in the end.
I'm on Facebook as Maggie Brinkley (of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, UK) if you are also on Facebook and you'd like to 'friend' me, please do! XXX
