The Monster Mash

Here I am with my first DT post for Anonymous Stamps! I'm thrilled to be working with Sian Evans and her Design Team. She's got some fabulous images and... did you know? These are all FREE so you can join in and play along any time you want! We're having a 'Hauntingly Fun' challenge for the month of October so you've plenty of time to get your card in as well.
So this is my first project. I've used two images, Frank and Maurice, from the People -Free Digi Stamps tab located on the blog. I flipped a couple of them to make them look more interesting and then lined them up so they could do the Monster Mash. haha Click on the link! I've linked up a YouTube video with the song and it's a very entertaining video! Let me tell you... I prepared this card a few weeks ago... I've had the song stuck in my head every since! Every time I look at the card, I get the song stuck in my head. :\ lol
I created the background by taking ONE sheet of tiled pattern paper from an 8X8 pad and cutting it into strips. I thought this would work great and as you can see... it did! I inked all the edges and then staggered them on top of each other. I kinda wanted to mimic the staggered images of the images as they are dancing to the Monster Mash. haha

I thought the staggered strips of paper looked so good on the cover that I repeated it on the inside. :)
Card Recipe:
Image is colored with Copic markers and mounted with foam tape
Sentiment was printed from Word
Tiled paper is retired from The Angel Company
Plain card stock is from my stash
I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:
Are you still here? What are you waiting for? Hop on over to Anonymous Stamps for your free digis so you can join in on some of these fun Halloween challenges! :)
