This week at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog, we have The Paper Shelter as our generous sponsor! Woohoo! I cannot even begin to tell you how thrilled I am about this! I've loved The Paper Shelter since I discovered digis back in December 2012. Wow! I can't believe it's been two years! Seems like only yesterday! I hope you can find time to pop on over to IDCB and check out the inspiration the Design Team have worked up cause let me tell ya... it's awesome! No! It's wicked awesome! :) Here's my little project:
Click on the pictures for a closer look!

I have two 6X6 sheets left of this paper that I've been hoarding like since 2006! I love the paper and it's making me so sad that I'm almost out but at the same time, I'm looking forward to finishing it because I told myself THREE years ago I'd not buy pattern paper or card stock until I'd used all I had... AND... well... I kinda have held up pretty good but I am bored out of my mind with my papers! lol

I had a suede handbag and sandals that looked like these back in the mid '70s and I remember they had brass coins and would turn my ankles green! Ha! I should have added a green tint to her ankles! lol I have earrings that look like these, kinda, sorta and they are turquoise and silver so I went with it but when I bought them, it was because they reminded me of some earrings one of my friends from high school wore and I had always loved them! I also use to... I'm kinda embarrassed to tell you this... wear bright blue eye shadow! Ha! So I gave her a hint of blue eye shadow. Mine wasn't a hint... it was BOLD... like everything else I've ever done with my life. Oh, come one! You know you wore it too! ;) lol Your secret is safe with me. I won't tell anyone about it. I'll just blog about it. ;) lol I'd always wanted to wear a Fedora hat as well but I'm too short for hats. I have worn them... but my mother and sisters have always said I look like a thumbtack. Aren't they mean? Probably jealous cause I looked so cute! Ha!

I love her - she looks great in all those trendy clothes and accessories. Yes, I wore blue eye shadow too, but subtle! I'd like to think I looked a lot like her in my younger days but I'm sad to say, not. lol Hazel x
ReplyDeleteHi Ema,
