Hipster Girl

Welcome back! :D Here I am again with my third and final project for this week's anything goes challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog. I am so loving this image! She is such a hip dresser! lol ;) Her hat reminds me of my sock monkey winter cap. My sister wants me to take a pic of myself wearing it and posting it on FB. What she doesn't understand is that my sock monkey hat is for ME! I'm not as brave as this hip girl! :D

Duet

Ta-da! lol Here I am again with my second DT project for this week's anything goes challenge at Inspiration Destination. This image reminded me of my son and daughter. They were very close when growing up. Whenever we went to church, they'd both jump up on the piano bench and start playing the piano! No.. they didn't know how! lol :D But what child does? I think I remember children banging on the piano at every church I ever attended.

Altered Planner

Welcome bloggers! Come join us at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog where it's ALWAYS anything goes! We've got three fabulous sponsors this week! One of our sponsors is Bugaboo Stamps and this is my DT project. When I saw this image, I just knew it was the perfect one for my 2016 monthly planner! It screamed at me! lol I kept the planner as CAS as I could because it's treated harshly and I didn't want it getting ruined before December 31st! ;) I love the colors of the planner so colored the image to match as much as possible.

DTBST #313 Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
Here I am with an invitation for you to join in on the fun over at Sassy Studio Designs with their Dare to be Sassy Thursday #313! The theme is Christmas.
I was invited to be one of the GDs for December and I've had a hard time getting my tush in gear for this. Never mind that it's the Christmas holiday season but I've so much going on with my brother. Then son gifted me furniture for Christmas and I had to make room for it so once again, my home is all topsy turvy! I've been in this house THREE years and I cannot get settled! Ugh!
But you're not here to read all about my woes! lol Let me show you what I came up with for the challenge!

Here's a better view of the image:
 Recipe:
Image from Sassy Studio Designs and colored with Copic markers ad a silver gel pen
Aluminum foil, glossy card stock and ribbon from my stash
This is what I used to make this:
Just to be clear. It's not a firecracker! lol I made some Christmas cookies and filled a small Ziploc baggie and tucked it into this empty paper towel tube. I "Ema-gined" it to be fun and festive. It didn't photograph well because of all the shiny-ness! :( It's so much prettier in real life!
Be sure to pop on over to SSD Challenge Blog and check out the fun scheduled for this week!
Thanks for stopping by my place today!
