Just a Note

Hi all! Wow! We're at the end of March and this is my second post for this year! Gosh, gee, I think all the losses I suffered at the end of 2014 and the turmoil of 2015 is starting to wear me down. I'm exhausted! But I'm not here to tell you that! I'm here to invite you to join us at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog for Challenge No. 79! Can you believe that? NUMBER 79!!! Our wonderful sponsors this week are Cute as a Button and Fresh Brewed Designs. This is my project for Cute as a Button.

Let me tell you a little secret. Just between you and me. ;) lol I signed up for some coloring classes in January 2015. Before that, I'd watched videos from this store and that store and picked up things from one friend or another. One of the things that I picked up on was about blending. I read that everywhere! Well, this class I signed up for, the first thing I did was print out the material and read it. Cause that's how I roll. The one thing that I read that caused me to put the class on a back burner was "do not blend". I was just all befuddled over that! It went against EVERYTHING I'd read, heard and watched! So it took until about maybe November 2015 to muster up the gumption to watch the videos and partake of some new knowledge. I tried the technique and really... God bless those who've tried because I've seen it but I cannot replicate it! I've tried! All it did was ruin my dark hair coloring! I think anyway. One of the things that no one has ever told me but I see it with my own eyes is that black hair... or for that matter, any color hair... does NOT have HUGE gobs of white. Unless these are images of an older generation. That's my thinking. So I understand a bit of white to show the light reflecting off a shiny head of hair. I. Get. That. Well, I use to be able to do that! Also, if it's a young girl, her hair should be black and not gray! Well, I'm doing that now! But to be honest, it could very well be that I've not really colored in months and you now as well as I do, that if you don't use it, you lose it! :p lol So I guess I've lost it and have to get it back! So anyway, that's my little bit on my coloring struggles these days.
Sentiment: Freebie (I was pretty sure it was from Desert Divas but I'm visiting their store and blog and that's not how I remember it. I don't see a link for freebies.)

Ants in My Cocoa!

Wow!
Can you believe I haven't seen you all since last year!?! Yes! It's true! I've had a crazier than crazy time with my personal life AND... I'm without a home computer. But what better way for me to show up than for the only reason is to invite you to come play with us at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog!?! Woohoo!
We've two fabulous new sponsors with us this year and one of them is Doodle Pantry!
Here's my take on an adorable image:

All products used are from Cocoa Cup Ants! I used one of the pre-colored images as well. Easy peasy, right?!?
It's why I love Doodle Pantry!
I'd like to enter my little project into these challenges, if I may, please!
