Life is Better on a Farm

Hiya, blogging peeps! It's so good to have you visiting today. I'm here to show you what I've been busy making for my DT project at Inspiration Destination. Our wonderful sponsor this week is Bugaboo!
Click on the images for a closer look!

Here's a look at the inside.
I've used Scene It - Cow Trio and colored it with my Copic markers and Pebbles Chalks (sky). The banner and fence die cuts are from La-La Land Crafts, as is the sentiment. Printed card stock is from 'Farm Fresh', a The Paper Studio paper pad at Hobby Lobby.
I originally meant to use this image on a canvas. I printed it kinda large just for that purpose. You can imagine my confusion and dilemma when trying to fit it onto a card! lol I remembered the canvas idea as I was gluing together the innards. Oh, well! Maybe next time! :)
I'd like to enter my card into these challenges, if I may please:

My Farm House

Hey all! I'm super excited to show you this week's project for our anything goes challenge at Inspiration Destination! Our fabulous sponsor is The Cutting Cafe and I've used 3D House Set - Template and Cutting File.
Click on the images for a closer look!
This started out as a treat box but I don't own a cutting machine so ALL these pieces were cut by hand.
After spending four days on it... I now cannot make myself give it away... it took an entire day to cut all the detail in all them windows! Ha! I originally planned to add more windows and maybe even a sky light but I came to my senses in the nick of time! lol This file also comes with a chimney and I ran out of steam before cutting it out. I don't know now whether that's a good or bad thing! Ha!
I went a little nuts with the moss...
I really wanted to add more sunflowers but I was afraid it would end up looking too busy...the sunflower is stamped from a set called Goes with Sommerset Gardener Gal at Raisin Boat.
The flower box was something I made myself. The fence is a die cut from La-La Land Crafts. I can't find a direct link to the April Kit in the store.
The 'Welcome' sign is hand written inside a wicked old stamped frame, I couldn't tell you the maker if my life depended on it. Something with Gypies in it, like maybe Gypsies7 or 7Gypsies? lol
I added more moss and some baby's breath into the flower box.
All the windows are metallic light blue card stock.
The door knobs are brads from my stash.
I created the pathway with some printed card stock and lined the path with Robin's Nest Halloween Dew Drops only because I wanted the 'stones' to look grayish and this was the closest I could get.
This is the first time, since like forever, that I've enlarged the photos to this size. It was such a labor of love that I really want you to see all the details from all angles. I made myself stop from adding more moss on the green base. lol So now it sits on my entry way table sl all visitors to my home can see my farm house! You'd think my home was Grand Central Station after reading that! lol I get maybe one visitor a week and usually, it's the same person. haha! I jest!
I'd like to enter my project into these challenges, if I may please:

Hello

Well, folks... I've gone and done it! Ha! I didn't think I'd EVER be able to do it and, to be honest, I think it still needs some work but this is the CLOSEST I've gotten to it since I started watching the video classes and so I'm pretty gosh darn pleased with myself if I can do and say that! lol :p
I'd been trying it with black hair but couldn't seem to be able to get it and, then I guess MAYBE I hadn't practiced enough with the brown colors but, then again, I did use a different set of browns this time. I think that helped. AND... most importantly, I watched all the videos from front to end. lol I'd kinda been watching bits and pieces here and there. But well, I guess the teach knows what she's talking about! I didn't plan to make anything with this. It was just meant as a practice coloring for me but after I was done I decided, I can't keep this! I have to share it with someone! :) lol

Recipe:
Image is the free image from The East Wind's May newsletter called Fung La and colored with Copic markers using Alyce Keegan's coloring technique. :D All of the supplies I used are from my hoarded stash.
I'd like to share this project with some challenges, if I may please:

Thankful for You

Wow! Another week of anything goes at Inspiration Destination is upon us! How fun! I love anything goes! Creative juices just flow naturally. I hope you can find time to join us for some fun and prizes. One of our wonderful sponsors is JustInklined.
Click on the images for a closer look!
I'd like you to see the flocking on the sunflowers.
This is the inside of the card.
The sunflowers on the top are fussy cut from the G45 pattern card stock and layered with 3D glue dots. It seemed like a really good idea at the time! lol
Recipe:
Image is Sunflowers from JustInklined and colored with Copic markers and I added texture with Michael's Recollections Flock in Brown. Sentiment is from the April 2016 Club Kit (I cannot find a direct link at the store. So sorry about that!) at Lala Land Crafts. French Country pattern card stock is from Graphic45 (retired). I inked all the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad in Vintage Photo. Plain card stock and button are from my stash. Base of card is 6X6 cut from a 12X12 Bazzill textured card stock. I had wanted to use raffia to wrap around the image and thread through the button but I couldn't find it. I did find some sisal and, let me tell you, after that little experience, I will NEVER use it again! lol Seemed like ANOTHER good idea when I first thought of it! Lesson learned! I found it too difficult to work with in the manner I used it.
I'd like to enter my project into this fun anything goes challenge:

Have a Sweet Day!

Here's my second project for this week's anything goes challenge at Inspiration Destination. Our second sponsor is Little Blue Button Stamps.
Click on the images for a closer look!
I wanted to give you a better view of the cupcakes!
This is the inside of the card.
Image is Cupcake Shop from Little Blue Button Stamps and colored with Copic markers and I accented the cupcakes in the image with Liquid Applique in pink, yellow, brown and white. Sentiment is from Cocoa Cup Ants at Doodle Pantry. Pattern print paper and plain card stock are from my stash. I looked everywhere for this particular image that I wanted to merge and make a super cute scene. As is often the case, I'll find it now that I've completed my project! :p lol Ha!
