Wish You Were Here!

Hiya, blogging peeps! Thanks for stopping by my place today. I'd like to show you my DT project for Inspiration Destination. One of our sponsors is Karleigh Sue! I chose this fun summer image to play with and I really like how it came out!
Click on the images for a closer look!
Let me tell you, I. Knew! I had a sticker or stamp that read 'wish you were here' in cursive. I looked for it high and low! Finally, I gave up and decided to hand write the sentiment. :\ THEN... I was looking for some dog embellishments and guess what I found? Yup! It was a sticker after all. But I. Knew! I had it! :p lol Well, I got the point across anyway. :)

Here's a closer look at the 'big picture'. lol Pun intended! :p
I want you to see the 'salt' around the rim of the glass. It's Stickles Glitter Glue in Crystal.
 Check out the awesome dies!
I used Hot Sunny Day and colored it with Copic markers, a gold gel pen and Stickles Glitter Glue in Crystal. Background paper is from Paper Wishes I received with a cardmaking kit long ago. I hoarded for this very reason... not this card... but a tropical scene card. I hadn't been able to find it before today! Ha! I used some torn Kraft card stock to create the 'sand' beneath her chair. The dies are from Top Dog Dies and they've closed their little shop! :( I created the 'Kodak' frame from white card stock and torn blue card stock to create the 'ocean' floor. lol I really didn't know how to word that! :p I inked everything with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Wild Honey.
I'd love to share my project with these challenges, if I may, please:

  2. What a clever idea, with your "photo" in the background. Well done. I can certainly relate to your search for the sticker LOL! (Don't they usually show up just after you use an alternative??) Thanks for entering the weekly challenge at Eureka Stamps ATG this time. Dorothy S, Eureka Stamps DT member.
