Have a Wonderful Day!

Hiya bloggers and crafty peeps! Boy howdy! I've been trying to make a fancy fold card for a couple of days and when I saw a box tunnel tutorial on Pinterest. I thought, easy peasy fancy fold! Ha! After I finished it, I thought it looked more like a shadow box so decided to go another direction with my fancy fold card. I put so much work and effort into this shadow box... well... now I. Have. To. Show. It. To. You! :p lol
Click on the images for a closer look!
I had a time with all the shadows! lol
I used the daisy die cut, Marcie rubber stamp and sentiment from the August kit and banner and tree branches with tiny flowers from the April kit at LaLa Land Crafts. I colored the image with Copic markers. Pattern papers are retired from American Crafts. Larger red flowers are die cuts from Quilled Creations Quilling Dies. Butterfly is from a Sizzix discontinued die cut. I cut some metal wire and twisted it to look like the butterfly antennae. Small white flowers are from Michael's. All rhinestones and textured card stock are from my stash. I used a household toothpick to mount the flag on to. I used Craf-T Products chalks to create the clouds on the bottom layer and a template from Bev Rochester of All the Things I Love. The box tunnel tutorial is by Yulia Kuznetsowa. I cut out the circles with a Fiskars Circle Template and inked all the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad in Peeled Paint.
Took all day yesterday to create this! Mind boggling if you ask me! lol

Just a Note

 Hiya, my fellow bloggers! :)
This is a pencil card I made with a Pencil Shaped Card Template Set from The Cutting Café. I originally had made a set of ten and placed a gift card for all of my nephews and nieces I could remember were going back to school. I thought I'd taken pictures. I have since then distributed the cards to the deserving recipients. :) THEN... I remembered I had NOT taken photos as I thought I had... so I made one more just to take a picture! lol Do you ever have little mishaps like that? Drives me batty the things I forget these days. It's a wonder I don't get lost on the way home from work! :p
I thought these came out too cute and I almost made another set of ten just in case I forgot anyone else who's going back to school. Ha!
So I did use the Pencil Shaped Card Template Set from The Cutting Café. The apples are from Favorite Recipes stamp set at Raisin Boat. The sentiment is retired from The Angel Company. I created the 'bends' in the pencil with Copic markers.  I used some aluminum foil to create the metal rim of the pencil eraser. Wasn't that clever!?! lol Twine, pattern paper for the envelope and all card stock are from my stash.

Yum!

I'd like to share this little make I've been hoarding for a  couple of weeks. I'd made it for someone special and I didn't want her to see it on my blog or Facebook before she'd received it. But she's received it now so y'all can see my masterpiece! lol ;)

Here's a close up of the image:
And here's a little peek at the inside:
This is Diva Lisa 'hmmm cupcake' from The East Wind. I've colored the image with Copic markers. Pattern card stock is retired and from Pink Paislee. I've used Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads in Worn Lipstick and Peeled Paint and Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles (SM). The enamel dots are from Echo Park Summer Party. Card base is 6"X6" Bazzill textured card stock. Plain card stock and flowers are from my stash.

You Make Me Happy!

Hi, everybody! :) This is my DT project for Challenge #327 - Wet or Dry Embossing at My Time to Craft Challenge Blog. I always tell myself I should dry emboss more often. It makes such a HUGE impact on the appearance of a project. It makes the simplest design so elegant. I have heaps of folders! I tend to use the same favorites over and over again. Do you do that?
Click on the images for closer looks!
I kept the inside very clean and here's a peek:
This is Kite Flyin' Mae from Some Odd Girl Stamps. I've colored the image with Copic markers. All pattern card stock and enamel dots are from Echo Park Summer Party. I'm getting good use from the kit I purchased from Kraftin' Kimmie that contained these crafting goodies! I can't tell you how pleased I am about that! I tend to hoard things I like so I'm very happy that I've been able to MAKE myself use these! lol :p

Paper Holder Craziness!

My DT project for this week's anything goes challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog! Our fantabulous sponsor is The Cutting Café!
I used a cutting file to organize my craft space! I was really excited about this idea and loved how easy it was to pull together... I went kinda crazy with the idea! I ended up with a total of EIGHT! Then... tee hee... I made six more to put some finished cards for RAKs! lol I couldn't STOP myself! I'm even thinking of making more! Somebody shoot me! lol
Click on the images for a closer look!
I just LOVE how these came out! Want me to make you one... or some? lol
I used the File Folder Box Holder Template and Cutting File. PLUS, I used tons of papers from my long-term hoarding stash! I tell you! I. Love. It! :D

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Hiya, bloggers! I've made a festive door hanging using a card set from The Cutting Café! Ha! Last time, I super sized one of TCC files and when I saw this one, BAM! I was hit by a stroke of lightening and ta-da! Here I am! lol I really like how it came out!
I've hung it on my front door for the full effect. I almost want to leave it up from now till Christmas! Ha! Do you think my neighbors will think me nuts?
Be sure to click on the images for a closer look!
Here's a view at an angle:
I've used Ho Ho Ho Word Shaped Card Template from The Cutting Café. As you can well imagine, I used only the letter outlines and Santa hat enlarging them to a 5X7 size. I then layered them to add more stability. I used jump rings to attach them together and WHAT FUN THAT WAS! I kid you, of course! lol I almost cried a couple of times! Jump rings are meant for young eyes or magnifying lenses, none of which I possess! :p I used rhinestones from my stash and a die cut from Fun Stampers Journey Snapshot Frames to cover a strip of layered card stock attaching the hat to the letters. I used cotton makeup swabs as faux fur on the hat. I am just so happy with how it came out and I hope you like it and it inspires you to think outside of the box!
