Walking the Doggy!

Hey, all! I've been invited to be a Guest Designer at BarneMix! I just love that! I got to design with an All Dressed Up image called Time for Walkies. The theme is to create your own background. I'll have to tell you, I'm fairly new to this technique but I figured all it will take is practice, practice, practice! Time will tell! lol

I Want You...

This is my DT project for Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog where it's always anything goes! One of our sponsors is The East Wind.
I wrote about my horror story of losing my huge file of sentiments so this is one that remains sentiment-less. lol If that is a word! I remembered a sentiment that read 'I Want You' and on the inside, my plan was to write in 'to have a warm winter!' but well... good intentions and all that! I'm still hoping to be able to save my huge file of sentiments! Go Office Depot! lol

Here's a closer look at the image:

Forever Friends

My DT project for Through the Craft Room Door's anything goes challenge this week. Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps!
Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was six years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

Warmest Wishes

My DT project for the newest release at Cute As a Button!
I'm still in love with the ease of making these one layer cards. I'm highly critical in that I'm not sure my coloring can pull it off but I'm very pleased with how this particular image came out. It's part of October's newest release at CAAB.

One Ringy Dingy!

Here I am again with another little project for Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog where it's always anything goes week after week! One of our fab sponsors is A Day for Daisies!
Be sure to click on the images for a closer look!
Here's a closer look at the image:
I dazzled the word 'telephone'! ;) lol
This is How May I Direct Your Call from A Day for Daisies. Reminded me of Lily Tomlin as Ernestine, the Telephone Operator... I'm probably aging myself here! lol I've used retired pattern card stock from G45 or Graphic 45, however you know it. :) I say that because I told someone to use some G45 papers and she had no idea what I was speaking of and then she turned around and told me she was thinking of using some Graphic 45 paper. lol We laughed about that for months! :D Our little inside joke and now you're in on it as well. :) I colored the image with Copic markers and a silver gel pen. The swirly black beads are from Want2Scrap. I won the flowers from Paper Temptress. The gold satin ribbon is from my stash. I inked everything that would sit still with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Black Soot. I. Love. To. Do. That! :) I added some glue and sprinkled Crystal Snow loose glitter on the word 'telephone' on the inside of the card. I felt the word needed some dazzling! :)

Rainy Raymond

Hiya, blogging peeps! This is my DT project for this week's anything goes at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog. One of our fab sponsors is Doctor Digi! Who wouldn't like some of that? :)
Be sure to click on the images for a closer look!
This is Rainy Raymond from Doctor Digi. I've colored the image with Copic markers and a silver gel pen. The pattern card stock is retired from Storytellers Club. I added some Robin's Nest Original Dew Drops in Halloween. I had a sentiment in mind for this, but let me tell you a story about that! :\
I'd been collecting free sentiments and wonderful images from Paulette at Create with TLC since about late 2012, maybe early 2013. Well, I had to replace my computer recently and one of the things I did before I purchased a new one is that I moved some files around on a cloud service I have. The ONLY file I'd downloaded to the computer was my file with all of the sentiments I'd been collecting over the years from Paulette. So I decided it was OK to delete these files from the cloud service since it was on the computer. Well... I can't get onto the computer now! :'( I could KICK myself for doing this but well, it is what it is. I've not quite given up yet. I want to take the CPU down to Office Depot and see if they can work some magic and get the file off the computer and onto a flash drive. Keep your fingers crossed and say some prayers with me, will you? I'm just flabbergasted I did this! :\ Ssooo... anyway... for now, poor Raymond is without a sentiment but I'm hoping I can rectify that situation some day soon! :)
By the way, I was kinda leery about the image... I've not done well with Raymonds in my life. lol ;)
I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:
