Nuts About You!

My DT project for Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog where it's always anything goes! Our fabulous sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps!
Click on the images for a closer look!
This is Autumn Squirrel from Bugaboo Stamps. I've colored the image with Copic markers and Pebbles Inc. chalks. The leaf die cuts are from Fun Stampers Journey. The grass die cuts are from Top Dog. Pattern paper is retired from Cosmo Cricket. The word 'nuts' are tiles from a Scrabble board game! I read about using those tiles in a layout from a scrapbooking magazine back in 2006! So I bought some old Scrabble board games that year at some yard sales up in New Hampshire. It's where we lived at the time and not that I drove up from Texas just for the purpose of buying board games at a yard sale! lol But up in NH, yard sales are called tag sales. So anyway... I'd been hoarding them since and look at that! It only took TEN years to use them! Ha! It's shameful the things I've hoarded over the years.

Trust In The Lord

Join us this week at My Time to Craft for our newest challenge which totally challenged me! lol However, now I'm the biggest fan of a one layer card! You guessed it... the theme for Challenge No. 334 is one layer cards!
Click on the images for a closer look!

Isn't this fun!?! I love the ease of making a one layer card. The focus is entirely on the images so I went with this super powerful sentiment and adorable Sweet Heather from Faery Ink. The sentiment is retired from The Angel Company. I colored the image with Copic markers and a gold gel pen. I used Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black for the sentiment.

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe!

Hi all! Here is my final contribution for Cute as a Button's newest release. I've enjoyed being part of the CAAB Design Team but I've got way too much going on in my messy life to give it the attention it deserves so I am stepping down from the Team. I wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavors.

This is Mistletoe Kiss from Cute As a Button. I've colored the image with Copic markers and a gold gel pen. The holly die cut is from Spellbinders. All pattern card stock is from Graphic 45. The ribbon is from Raisin Boat. All other supplies are from my stash.

Be Happy!

Here's a little card I've made using some pastel papers I totally fell in love with. I'm not a pastel colors kinda gal so this was a big thing for me. lol :)

Image was a freebie from Elizabeth Bell's weekly newsletter. Pattern paper is from Picture Perfect from Queen & Co. Dragonfly die cut is from LaLa Land Crafts August monthly kit. Sentiment from Stampin' Up. Ribbon from Hobby Lobby fabric department. I dabbed glue on the wings of the dragonfly and sprinkled Crystal Snow on them.

Doggonit!

My second DT project for Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog where it's always anything goes! Our second sponsor is Just Inklined!
Click on the images for a closer look!
Here's a closer look at the image.
This is Naughty Pup from Just Inklined. Image colored with Copic markers and a silver gel pen. I usually use chalks to create the clouds but I was a brave girl this time and used Copic markers and a cloud template I found online from Bev Rochester of All the Things I Love. I'll be honest. I didn't watch the video. I kinda just winged it but I did use her template. It's my first time to use Copic markers with the template and I really like how it came out! Pattern paper and cording to make the bow are from my stash. Sentiment is from a clear stamp set at Raisin Boat called Puppy Love. I think this will make a great belated birthday card for a dog lover! What do you think?
