Congratulations!

My project for Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps Challenge 366 - White. What a challenge! Not one of my favorites because I'm a colorful character. Ha! But I think I got it done...

 Some closeups of the images:

A closeup of the flowers and butterfly:
This is a stamp set I purchased recently at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps called Let's Celebrate and this is my first time using it. I've colored the images with Copic markers, Stickles Glitter Glue in Diamonds, Liquid Pearls in Opal and Glossy Accents. Embossed paper is retired and from SEI. I stamped the images and sentiment with Memento Ink Pad in Tuxedo Black. The layering butterfly punch is from EK Success. Flowers, ribbon, rhinestones and textured and white card stock are from my stash.
Along with Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge 366, I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:

Here's a close up of the shimmer:
What a time I had photographing this. I couldn't get a good pic of the shimmer. But you get the idea! In life, be your own kind of beautiful and stand out! :D The feather stamp is from Sunday International when it was still Sunday International. lol The sentiment is from Beautiful Happiness Stamp Set at Fun Stampers Journey.

Riding By!

Hi all!
I've made this little number to participate in Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge 365 - Square Cards. I mean, who wouldn't absolutely LOVE to win some Kraftin' Kimmie goodness!?! lol
I've purchased a heap of Kraftin' Kimmie stamps lately and hadn't really found time to play with them but we've had an awful windy day and it kicked up some dust like you wouldn't believe! Left me completely congested and miserable. I was sitting on the recliner with Lady at my feet when I decided, now was a good time to play with my new stamps. I thought it might take my mind off my misery. It worked! lol Yay!
This is Minnie, Maisie and Me clear stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I've colored the image with Copic markers and a silver gel pen. I then fussy cut the image and I think after doing that, I deserve a banana split from DQ but it's late now and I don't like to drive in the dark so it'll have to wait till tomorrow! lol It seemed like a good idea when I started but then I got to the itty bitty spaces and then it didn't seem like such a good idea! Ha! I mounted the image onto some foam tape so it could kinda pop off the page. All pattern paper is from Echo Park's I Love Family paper pad. The clouds are cutouts from a Darice embossing folder. Ribbon is from Michael's. Flowers are a hostess gift from Fun Stampers Journey. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad in Wild Honey to ink the edge of the papers. Plain card stock is from my stash.
In addition to KKS Challenge #365, I'd like to enter my card into these challenges:

A Little Somethng...

Just for you! lol I always think that when I see this image. This is a new release from Lisa Bloobel. How I laughed when I first saw it! Hysterical!
This is Digging for Treasure from Bloobel. I've colored the image with Copic markers and the sentiment is retired from Stampin' Up. I have a sister who's got a birthday coming up. I invited her for lunch to celebrate her special day. I also asked her if she had a birthday wish list. Her response was that lunch was sufficient... and I don't know why... but her response made me remember this image so I had to go get it! lol On the inside, I've stamped... just for you! Then I went on to add a handwritten note that I'd still take her to lunch! lol I hope she gets it! I thought myself so clever when I had the thought! lol :p

No Means No!

Hi all! Lisa Bloobel started a progressive challenge on Facebook and this was the first image for the challenge. I wasn't sure I wanted to participate in a progressive challenge because sometimes, life overwhelms me and I cannot follow through. But I was too late for the freebie so I had to pay for the image. That took the pressure off! lol
This is I Must Protest from Bloobel. I colored the image with Copic markers and created my own background. The alpha stamp used for the 'protest' sign is one I've had since 2006 so who knows the maker! :( lol

What's New, Chickie?

Hi all! I colored this image months ago but hadn't been able to put her down on paper. Finally, I found the inspiration to finish her!
Click on the images for a closer look!
This is Egg Collecting from the Work & Play Collection - Country Life at Polkadoodles. Sentiment is unknown. I've colored the image with Copic markers and a silver gel pen, Liquid Pearls in White Opal (eggs) and Michael's Recollections Flocking Power in Yellow (chicks). The sunflower is a cut out from a rubber stamp I've had for years and the center is Liquid Applique in Walnut sprinkled with Crystal Snow Glitter. Pattern paper is Farm Fresh from The Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. Enamel dots are from Fun Stampers Journey.

Coffee Time!

Hi all! I saw one of Bloobel's newest stamps and I knew immediately I had to have it! First of all, she's got my long legs! :p lol
Click on the images for a closer look!
This is Tea Break from Bloobel. I've colored the image with Copic markers and Liquid Pearls in White Opal (buttons). The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie's Coffee & Friends. All paper I used are from my scrap pile! Awesome, right!?! Pattern paper is retired from Me & My Big Ideas. I got the shimmer card stock from Tuesday Morning on a Saturday! Ha! I know, I know! I can be so corny sometimes! When I got it, I thought I didn't need to keep the package it came in because I'd ALWAYS remember who made this beautiful paper. It was a pack with yellow, red, green and blue. Truly pretty card stock and I've been pretty good about using it despite my tendencies to hoard pretty paper. lol But alas, for the life of me, I cannot remember who it's from! :( Shocked, right?!? lol ;)

My Favorite Christmas 2016 Present!!!

Hiya, folks! Thanks for stopping by my place today. :)
I've something to share with you. Not really DT related in any way, as I barely have time to eat and dress myself these days. lol Times like these, I wonder why clothes are really necessary. :p lol
Anyway, I received an OttLite as a Christmas present from daughter, Nina. Now, I'm not one to really like to admit I have favorites when it comes to children, family and gifts but none of them read my blog so I'll tell you all about it! lol
I. Love. My. OttLite! I had unpacked it from the box last week and turned it on to check out the works. I did this in the living room and all my crafty goodness happens in my craft room. So, yes, it worked and I kinda wondered if I'd steered myself wrong in putting this item on my wishlist. But yesterday was a good day for my knee and I thought I should take advantage of the pain-free day and kinda put things away in my craft room. My table looked horrid! I'd ordered myself a whole bunch of awesome krafty goodies from Kraftin' Kimmie at her last sale and... I have to admit, I went kinda crazy! So when they arrived, I'd only tossed them onto the table because as I wrote earlier, I've just not had time for anything!
So clearing off my desk and setting up my lamp was maybe about #4 on my list of things to do. Ssooo it was pretty late in the day by the time I got around to it. I'm still hobbling so EVERY. THING. takes forever and a day to get accomplished. Once I had the lamp set up, I felt the need to give it a good ol' college try... and boy howdy! I'm glad I did! Because I arrived at the conclusion I stated earlier... I. Love. My. OttLite! This particular model has a four-touch brightness level thingymabob. lol You know what I mean! :p So here's a look at my precious lamp:
And this is what I did with it:
Go ahead! Click on the images for a closer look!

Boy howdy! It sure picked up my lack of coloring skills! lol But to be honest, I hadn't colored since last year. :p lol Yes, a super long time ago!
This is Flapper Twirl Girl from lemonshortbread. I colored the image with Copic markers and Stickles Glitter Glue in Diamonds. I bought some new Copic markers and refilled the reds and I hadn't caught that these splattered all over the card front! So I got kinda creative with some Symphony Tissue Tape by Tim Holtz Idea-ology. To balance the front of the card, I added some Rainbow Drops from Fun Stampers Journey I bought recently and this is my first time to use them. I really like how they sparkle. Now, I'm kinda stuck for a sentiment! lol But I'd been itching to color this image since I got it recently. I just love the image! Anyway, the image is new to me and although I've had the tape for awhile, today was the first time I've used it as well! lol My secret is out! I'm a hoarder! *GASP!*
I'd like to add my card to these challenges:
Again, thank you so much for stopping by!
