First Father's Day

Here's a little something I whipped up for my future son-in-law for his first Father's Day. I have to admit... I am completely lost when it comes to stuff like this. You see... I was raised by a single mother and I was a single mother. More than anything in the world... I hope my daughter broke that cycle. Also, none of my brothers or sister's husbands were involved fathers. This is a new generation and I see that today's young families have the father changing diapers and feeding the baby. I am so grateful to see James take on a hands on attitude. I'm left feeling speechless when I see him doing this and I am so grateful for him loving my daughter. To hear my daughter speak of him... he's a good father and will be a good husband. I pray for the both of them every day.
This is A Chip off the old Block from The Paper Shelter. Papers are from Echo Park Rock-a-Bye Baby Boy. I've colored the image with Copic markers and Colore coloring pencils. Ribbon, star chipboard and rub-on sentiments are from my stash.
Now to write something meaningful that will express my deep gratitude and admiration for James. Easy, peasy, right? lol I purchased this stamp on Monday. Then on Wednesday, my daughter sent me this picture. I think this card was meant to happen! I mimicked the pillow case pattern! lol
I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
Thanks for stopping by!
