Best Witches!

I saw these walking leg images and just had to have them for Halloween! I think they are fun! They remind me of those headless women stamp sets from back like maybe 2005, 2007, something like that. I cannot remember who made them but they were shown from their shoulders down. No heads. I often wondered what those poor women had done to have their heads chopped off!?! Now... it's these walking legs! LoL Either way, I think they are fun! I had to get all three sets!

Anyway, these stamp sets are from Colorado Craft Company called Sitting Witch (orange) Witch's Monkeys (green) and Best Witches (purple). Images are colored in Copic markers and Stickles glitter glue in Stardust and the Witch's Monkeys has some Glossy Accents on the drinking glass and globe. Enamel dots are from Your Next Stamp.

Fun, right?!?

I saw a couple of challenges for spots or stripes and I think I have both going on here! LoL

I would like to play along with:

Creative Inspirations September Challenge - Dots or Stripes.

Eeeeekk!

Eeeeekk is the word!

LoL

I worked on this today and went to look up the challenge to upload and it seems... maybe... shocking as it will be to read this... I may have misunderstood the assignment.

I saw that House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge is having a challenge calling for monochromatic. I know what that means! One step ahead of the game! Shades of one color. So I whipped up my card. Turned out so much better than I thought although it does not look like how I Ema-gined. Went back and read the blog again once I was done. Finished. Kapoot... only to find out they have written monochromatic plus white. Sssooooo... I looked at the other entries, including the DT's inspiration pieces. I saw a couple with no white so I decided to go with this! We shall find out!

So this is House Mouse Acorn Cap colored with Copics. Sentiment is from Crafter's Companion and the enamel dots are from Your Next Stamp. Monochromatic, right?!?

So I am gonna play along with HMFMC Challenge #374 Anything goes Optional Monochromatic (shades of one color + white) and we will find out what happens together! :)

Fabulous!

I saw something like this on Pinterest and I so fell in love with it that I had to buy the digital stamps and then try my own version. I think I did OK, except that her chicken looks speckled and mine looks like she has chicken pox, but I think the idea comes across anyway. LoL

This is a digital image and sentiment from Spring Chicken set at Beccy's Place. Image is colored in Copic markers and the enamel dots are from Your Next Stamp.

I would like to play along with Krafty Chicks Challenge #629 CAS.

Booo!

I am plugging away on my Halloween cards! I had so much fun with this one! Lots of stamping, coloring, cutting and pasting! What a way to spend a Saturday afternoon! All I needed was cool fall weather, a fuzzy sweater and apple pie to make it perfect! LoL :)

I used several die cuts to get this put together. I started with Art Impressions Spooky Wagon Set, the tree stumps and tiny leaves were a freebie I received from MFT for spending over $60. I actually spent $75 to get free shipping. I do not like to pay for shipping. But it is available for sale, hence the link above. The clouds are from Your Next Stamp and the tree branches and grass are retired from Top Dog. Everything that could be colored was colored with Copic markers.

The entire card is made from scraps. I used scraps of brown card stock, lots of white scraps and even the mat, was a 6X8 scrap of blue card stock! I am always a happy camper when I can use scraps.

Do Not Enter!

This guy has some serious thinking to do! LoL

This didn't come out quite like I Ema-gined it but I went with it. I hope the house looks like it is just "glowing" with spookiness. LoL

This is a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Mummy. I also have it as a physical stamp! Someone gifted me a Penny Black stamp set of four and two of the stamps, I have as digital. Although, I love playing with ink and getting my fingers inky, digital stamps are so easy to manipulate... I can resize, flip, create a scene, add a sentiment, the possibilities are endless in my Ema-gination... and they don't take up valuable retail space in my craft room!

The image is colored with Copic markers. I created the sky using a video on YouTube by Taffleberry Lane for Lawn Fawn. Talk about getting my fingers inky! I used Tim Holtz oxide inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Wild Honey, Mermaid Lagoon, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I misted the finished product with water and dotted a few white dots with a gel pen to create "stars". I should have left well enough alone. But the damage had been done and I kept plugging along. The haunted mansion, fence and sentiment are from a discontinued Raisin Boat stamp set. I stamped the sentiment, colored it to look like wood and then used a silver gel pen to look like a chain hanging from the fence. I colored light beams from the flash light with Copic marker in Y04 and a white gel pen dotting it with Stickles glitter glue in Stardust.

Tee-Hee!

Seriously. Tee-hee!

I found a challenge blog I want to participate in but I am not sure I am understanding the challenge rules. So... since I only have the stamp... I originally was gonna make a CAS card but the image was just floating on the card. So I trimmed it... and now... it's kinda a big gift tag. LoL

See! This is Penny Black's Summer Love colored with Copic markers. Once I get a better understanding of the rules, if I participate again... I will get it right for sure. For now... I think I got it.

I Want Candy!

I am feeling kinda naked. I am already done with my fall cards. I am usually knee deep in scraps of paper about now but they are all done. I think I may have even made an extra one just because there was a stamp set I wanted to use! I think it has something to do with those six CAS cards I made. I am thinking. That is just my thought. But, oh, well! Here I am with my first Halloween card. I love Jade Dragonne images. They are so super cute! Not many I can use because she tends to draw them sexy too and I think it's weird to send sexy looking images to family and friends. LoL Call me prudish! Blah!

This is a freebie called Candy Corn from Jade Dragonne. She used to be on Facebook but when I discovered her she was on DeviantArt. You have to join DeviantArt to look at the images so I couldn't find the direct link for the image but I gave you a headstart, but when I left FB in 2019, she was still on there.

I have to tell you about this Darice glitter paper! I found it on Amazon and I have other glitter papers but I don't use them since discovering this glitter paper because I have absolutely NO GLITTER on my hands! And I messed with it! Cause I die cut it and then I had to work it to get all the little cutouts out and, yet, no glitter on my hands, face, hair, clothes... or my desk! Yay! I. Love. This. Glitter. Paper! If it's wrong to love this glitter paper... I don't want to be right.

The cutout candy corns are from a stamp set at Whimsy Stamps called I Want Candy. When I saw the stamp set, I remembered this image and it all just came together! Funny how that works out sometimes!

The brad is from Paper Wishes and I got it years ago with one of their scrapbooking kits so it is probably no longer available. The corner die cuts are also from Amazon. Ribbon is from Michael's dollar bin. I have not been there since before the pandemic so I do not know if they still have dollar bins. So there's that! The pattern papers are from Echo Park and probably discontinued because I have had them forever. The flowers were a gift from a friend and I cannot remember the namebrand. I dotted the flowers and the small candy corn with Stickles glitter glue in Stardust. The Happy Halloween on the interior is an acetate piece and I could not even begin to tell you where I got it or when because I am drawing a complete blank on it.

I hope you've enjoyed looking at this because I had a blast making it! LoL I had a couple of mishaps, but I just went with it. The flowers were meant to be in the upper left corner but I dropped them where they are and there was no removing them without tearing paper so I decided they looked just fine where they landed. Again, there's that! LoL Oh, and the images are colored with Copic markers. In case there was any question about that. ;)

Fall Fun

Isn't this the cutest stamp and die set ever?!? I had so much fun with it! I even decorated the envelope. I just didn't photograph it but I went wild with this! LoL Although, I think I did kinda get carried away with the leaves but... oh, well!

I've used Halloween Slimline SetSpooky Wagon Set and Harvest Together from Art Impressions. I used all the images from the Slimline Set. Pumpkins on the ground and the small grouped leaves are from the Spooky Wagon Set and the sentiment is from Harvest Together. The sole enamel dot is from Your Next Stamp. The sentiment on the interior of the card is from Mochi Fall Girl at Stamping Bella. All images are colored with Copic markers. I inked the edges of the front panel with Tim Holtz oxide inks in Stormy Sky and Walnut Stain.

Oops!

You get to a certain age and then everyone around you has health issues and that is all you talk about! I thought it happened to older people, but it turns out, it just happens to everyone. OK? OK! ;)

I have a niece who fell recently... injured her knee... is hobbling about with the aid of her hubby. She refuses a cane cause she says it's not that bad! LoL She tells me she fell while out imbibing on her husband's birthday. It took every ounce of restraint within me to ask if she'd learned a lesson. I did ask if he was able to finish celebrating his birthday correctly. LoL She told me to hush!

This is a digital stamp from Elizabeth Bell called Little Boo Boo. I think it works great for someone who is healing and you are just following up on the recovery! The image is colored with Copic markers. The papers are from a paper pad from PhotoPlay Laugh or Cry Quarantine Life Outtakes from Amazon and, as of this date, still available! All other supplies are from my stash.

I think I would like to enter this into Creative Knockouts #468-Use Your 2 Fav Embellies. I've used brads and the Scrabble tiles. I just love to use embellishments and really, really love it when I get to use embellishments I have had forever like the Scrabble tiles and these new nifty brads I purchased from Amazon. I raved about them on my last get well card I made for a cousin and was super happy to get to use them on this card again!

Happy Fall, Y'all!

I find it interesting that when fall rolls around, everyone turns southern! LoL

This is a digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Cinnamon with Pumpkin. I've colored the image with Copic markers. I dotted Liquid Pearls in Bronze on the button on her shoe and Stickles glitter glue on the button of her jacket and the pom pom on her hat. All papers and stickers are discontinued and from Echo Park A Perfect Autumn and as of today, still available at Amazon. Die cuts are also discontinued from Top Dog Dies. I did not plan to use enamel dots from Your Next Stamp on the interior of the card, but I had a little mishap again! So, there goes that! The sentiment is from Stamping Bella Mochi Fall Girl

I would like to enter this card with Send a Smile 4 Kids September Challenge Cute Fall/Halloween Cards 4 Kids

Hooray for Fall!

I made this card for my middle child. He and I are so homesick for New Hampshire. Especially during the fall and winter seasons. Well, I get homesick during the fall season and he gets homesick during the winter season. He LOVED the snow! I loved the colors of fall. So when I start my fall cards, I get very nostalgic. This image made me think of him when he was young and always wanted to get the biggest pumpkin we could find!

This is a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called The Big One. How appropriate! I have colored the image with Copic markers. Papers and stickers are from Carta Bella Fall Break collection (it's been discontinued but as of today, Amazon is still carrying it). Stamped sentiment on the interior is from Art Impressions Harvest Together

I hadn't done this in quite awhile, but I thought I would enter my card into the challenge at We Love Stamping for their September Anything Goes challenge

With Love

I have a cousin down south near Austin who had a knee replacement recently. She's well on the road to recovery so I am kinda late with the get well wishes. We've been texting so that has been my excuse. But I did want to send her something to let her know I was wishing her well during her recovery.

This is a digital stamp from Elizabeth Bell called Little Boo Boo. The image is colored with Copic markers. The postage stamp die cuts are from Amazon. The large heart is a sticker and it and the papers are from a paper pad from PhotoPlay Laugh or Cry Quarantine Life Outtakes also from Amazon and, as of this date, still available! The die cut sentiment is from Amazon. The small heart is a brad I purchased at Amazon as well, not because I did not have any, it was because they came with these awesome washers meant just for brads and a paper punch and I just thought it was such a great deal! Amazon is a huge enabler. I am constantly being bombarded with nifty things they think I might like and, although sometimes they get it wrong, other times they show me something I think I absolutely cannot live without and this was one of those purchases! LoL

My Favorite Color is Fall

My favorite color IS fall! I had a visitor come into my dining room once and said, it feels very fall in here. LoL That should tell you what my color scheme is in there!

This is Curvy Girl Loves Autumn from Stamping Bella that I just had to have! She's colored with Copic markers. Washi tape is from Amazon, still available as of this date, and enamel dots are from Your Next Stamp. I did not plan to use enamel dots. I had a little mishap and you know how that goes!
