I have to show y'all this if for no other reason than to tell you how absolutely adorable I find this image! It is Sledding is Fun from Julia Spiri's Etsy shop. This is the first time I noticed her gray-scale images and I just absolutely fell in love with this adorable image. I have had so much fun coloring it! I got a little carried away with that! LoL I colored it with Copic markers and a Dyvicl white gel pen. I flipped the image because I told you I got carried away with coloring this image! So to keep it interesting, I flipped a few of them. I colored one in black and white and it reminded me of those Art, the Clown images but not scary. LoL I colored one in blue and white, one in red and white, one in Christmas colors, one in various shades of blue, even one in yellows! LoL I had to FORCE myself to stop!

Christmas Joy!
PICTURE HEAVY!
Come join us at 613 Avenue Create for our November challenge that ends this week! The theme is anything goes with the option of a fancy fold. I, once again, went with the optional fancy fold theme and have made this card using lots of loved old crafty goodness from my stash so it is almost all unavailable. I used discontinued Graphic 45 Christmas Time. The main image on the front is from Crafty Secrets. When Raisin Boat still had their doors open, I bought their beautiful ribbon in all colors and I am starting to run out of the basic colors. I need to find a new ribbon to love just as much! LoL Told ya! Old stuff! LoL The gears are from Amazon and the only item that is new. I dabbed the berries with some Stickles glitter glue in Stardust. The safety pin, chipboard (deer) and ephemera (Christmas tree, bell and lined paper) are all from my stash. The fold for this card is from my favorite place to go for fancy fold tutorials, Whiff of Joy. I used my handy Scor-Pal to create all the folds. We have a sponsor this month! It is Conie Fong Art! I hope you can squeeze us into your crafty fun this month!
I made this Christmas card for my daughter and grandson. I want to include gift cards so there are pockets and you can see them in the final image below.

Please join us at Crafty Catz Challenge for our #616 Anything Goes Challeneg with Blue and Silver option. Our sponsor this week is Jan's Digi Stamp Shop and she's offering a $6 gift certificate to one lucky winner! Feeling lucky? Come play along with us!
This is Caroling (image and sentiment) from Jan's Digi Stamp Shop and it is colored with Copic markers and Dyvicl white and silver gel pens. I sprinkled Stampendous micro glitter on the fur trim on top of Zig 2-Way glue. (I angled the card to give a closer view of the shimmer.) The snow flake die cuts are from Paper Smooches and are cut from some Darice glitter paper that I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Lacey ribbon is from Hobby Lobby fabric department and the silver ribbon is from Michael's. Holly die cut is from Spellbinders. Sentiment on the inside of the card is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Patterned cardstock is from Carta Bella Snow Much Fun. I dry embossed a scrap piece of white cardstock with Gina K Designs snowflake embossing folder and added some snowflake patterned vellum paper behind the main image.

Christmas Wishes for my Gnomies!
Hey, all! We are into week three of November's Anything Goes challenge with optional fancy fold theme at 613 Avenue Create! I went with anything goes this week and am using images from our generous sponsor Conie Fong. The prize is three digital images from her Etsy shop! Woohoo! Wish I could play along with the challenge for that prize! LoL
This is Bauble Gnome and Sentiment Bundle From Conie Fong on Etsy and I colored the images with Copic markers. Enamel sparkle dots are from Your Next Stamp. Pattern paper is discontinued from Echo Park Deck the Halls. Sentiment on the inside of both cards is also discontinued from Impression Obsession. I sprinkled Stampendous micro glitter on the fur trim on top of Kuretake Zig 2-Way glue. I wish you could see it IRL. It's very shimmery. :)
Copics used are:
Skin: E04, E11, E01, E00, R02
Greens: G29, G24, YG24
Blues: B99, B97, B95
Golds: Y29, Y28, Y23, Y21

Coffee and Friends
I had to play along with a challenge at Double D and Cut It Up so here I am with another coffee card! Actually one of them was for hot beverage but is there any question about what that hot beverage should be?!? LoL
This image and sentiment are from Coffee and Friends at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I colored the image with Copic markers and a Dyvicl white gel pen. Pattern papers are from Echo Park Coffee & Friends. What a wild coincidence! Ha! Coffee mug, hearts and COFFEE word die cuts are from La-La Land Crafts. Since I wanted the coffee word to come up over the top of the card, I knew I needed to cut it from some sturdy paper. I thought to use some chipboard but all I have is heavy weight chipboard and I did not want to run that through my die cut machine, but then I remembered reading a post somewhere about die cutting several die cuts of an image and layering them. So I thought I would give it a try. At first, I was not sure it would work, because I used wet adhesive and they were very soft and pliable while wet. But once they dried, they were just like chipboard! Three layers! Just like that! Awesome! I will have to remember that trick! I inked edges of the coffee word die cut with Tim Holtz distress ink in Brushed Corduroy.
I spent seven hours putting my card together. What fun! It kept my mind off of so many things and I was in my happy place. Until about an hour from wrapping this up. A neighbor halfway down the street was playing his music from the car so loudly that, I kid you not, the windows on MY house were vibrating. I ignored it at first thinking that it would stop but after a half hour, I had to call the non-emergency police phone number. Then they wanted to know exactly where the music was coming from and the color of the car and a description of the neighbor. I ended up crying with the officer. He said he would send someone but since they had such a vague description, they might not be able to do anything about it. I mean all you had to do was turn down onto our street and you would hear the music and direction it was coming from! So I think I had reason to cry! I don't know if they came by but the noise finally stopped. Thank goodness! It almost ruined my happy play time. LoL
The reason it took seven hours is because I did not plan on coloring in a background; however, while coloring the peach outfit, one of my markers ran dry and so I refilled it and then immediately, had a squirt of ink comeout while coloring the flower. I had already colored most of the image by then. I did not have the heart to start all over again. So I sat and pondered it over. This is what I came up after all that pondering. I wanted to make it an indoor cafe scene, but I did not trust I could get it right and I have done the brick wall and windows before so that was an easy argument to win. LoL So I made it an outdoor sidewalk cafe!

Thanksgiving with my Gnome!
I think this is the sweetest Thanksgiving gnome I have ever seen! I just love him! I discovered him a bit too late to make ALL my Thanksgiving cards with him, but there's always next year! :D
This is Pumpkin Gnome and Sentiment bundle from Conie Fong on Etsy. Image is colored with Copic markers. Pattern paper is from Echo Park Celebrate Autumn. Sentiment on the inside is from Impression Obsession Special Time. Enamel dots are from Your Next Stamp. I thought the pilgrim hat and shoes along with the pumpkin clearly got the message across that this is a Thanksgiving card; however, I wanted to use traditional Thanksgiving colors so I Googled that. I was surprised to learn red was traditional because of the cranberries. Isn't that wild? LoL So I went with that!
Copic colors used are:
Skin: E04, E11, E01, E00, R02
Black: BV29, BV25, BV23
Gold: Y28, Y26, Y23

613 Avenue Create November 2022 Challenge Reminder!
Hi! We are close to wrapping up our November Anything Goes with option of fancy fold challenge at 613 Avenue Create. I hope you will be able to join us while there is still time!
Our sponsor this month is Conie Fong Art. This is Pumpkin Kitties and Sentiment and I have colored the image with Copic markers. I drew in the trees in the background and grass in front. I have been watching lots of videos with Elaine Hughes of Marker Geek. She has been a tremendous help to me! All pattern papers and shimmer beads are from my stash. The alphabet die cuts are from Amazon. The candy images on the interior of the card are from I Want Candy at Whimsy Stamps. The sentiments are stickers from my stash. I used my handy Scor-Pal to create all the folds. If anyone is interested, I listed the Copic marker colors at the bottom of the page.
This is a tri-fold card. I could not find directions so I kinda just winged it. LoL I did see that some were closed with ribbons or an embellishment strategically placed to keep the front flap closed; however, I made this for my five year old grandson's Halloween 2023. One down! I am way ahead of the game! LoL He's autistic so I always make his cards with certain features that I know will intrigue him. First, he likes things that snap. So another great reason to use magnets! He likes texture and the 'halloween' die cuts can be felt when you run your fingers across the front. He likes shiny things so I used shiny beads with REALLY strong glue. If he tries to pull those off, he's tearing paper too! I hope it will be a big hit with him!
Whenever I gift him a handmade card, I like to keep an eye on him to see what he finds interesting and make note for future reference. Once I see that he wants to either pull things off or tosses it to the side, I will either distract him with something else to take it away from him and/or store it away for the future. I am keeping a box where I place all the cards I have made for him since birth. My hopes are that someday when he's older and/or I am gone, his mother will share the box with him if she doesn't toss the whole thing away! LoL Most times, he looks at it and throws it on the floor to run off and play! LoL So these may be new to him over and over again as he gets older.

613 Avenue Create November Anything Goes with Option: Fancy Folds
Hi! I want to invite you to join us at 613 Avenue Create for our November challenge. As always, it is anything goes; however, the optional twist is a fancy fold! Fun, right!?!
Our sponsor this month is Conie Fong Art. This is Sally and Snowball. The image is colored with Copic markers. All pattern papers are from Echo Park I Love Winter. The snow flake die cuts are from Paper Smooches. The corner die cut on the inside is from Amazon. The sentiment on the inside is a sticker from the paper pack. I inked the edges of the paper beneath the snowflakes and main image with Tim Holtz distress ink in Picket Fence and then followed that with Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof White Paint. I need to work on using that nifty product! I only discovered it a couple of weeks ago. I used my handy Scor-Pal to create all the folds. If there's any interest, I listed the Copics used to color the image at the bottom of the page.
Bloggers, let's talk glitter paper. I used two types of glitter paper because I could not find where I put the pack of Darice glitter paper I purchased from Amazon. You may know how that goes! I had a red scrap that allowed me to make some snowflakes. But I wanted more and the glitter paper I did find was from another company that is known for selling glitter paper in packs of three 12X12 sheets. I have written before how absolutely awesome the Darice glitter paper is to work with! I die cut it and had to play around with it to get all the little pieces separated. No glitter on my hands, clothes, face or desk. None! Not one fleck. I worked the other glitter paper and I had glitter flying all over the place. I ended up with glitter all over my hands, under my nails, face, hair, shirt, even my pants and, of course, the desk. I swept away a small pile of glitter when I was done. I do not get any kind of compensation telling you about the Darice glitter paper. I am telling you about it because it is freaking awesome! I. Love. It. I have said it before, if it is wrong loving the Darice glitter paper, I. Do. Not. Want. To. Be. Right. :D
I found a tutorial at Whiff of Joy for this folding card. I find they have some awesome tutorials and this is one of my favorites. The tutorial called for a ribbon tie to keep the card closed and I struggle with bows so I decided to use magnets I got from Amazon instead. LoL A little bit of a nightmare I should say but I got it to work! So it is all good!
